I anledning slipp av Lars Lerviks EP og Tore Stavlunds "Gitararbeider, mars 2011" inviterer SLMC til slippfest og konsert på MIR, Grünerløkka lufthavn torsdag 25. august.

LIVE:

Layers Of The Onion er Fredrik Ness Sevendal (FNS, Kobi) & Martin Powell (monolab, Kobi), begge sentrale aktører på den eksperimentelle impro-scenen i Norge og England gjennom mange år. Musikken er form for "wierd folk" bygget på akustiske droner og minimalistiske, melodiøse fraseringer.

Klangverkstedet er prosjektet til Anthony Barratt (Je Sui Animal, Kosmiche). Referanser sammenfatter elektronisk musikk-pionerer som Tom Dissevelt, the BBC Radiophonic Workshop og Joe Meek. Konserten på MIR vil bli Klangverkstedets første live show, noe som sammenfaller fint med utgivelsen av debututgivelsen, som kan bli lyttet til og kjøpt her.

Tore Stavlunds gitararbeider preges av ambiente strukturer, mild støy og en hauntologisk mix av distanserende klang, forsiktig melodiføring og vekselsvis prosesserte og resiterte tekstfragmenter.

Som i 2009, da vi gjorde et sett med LAND på Revolver, vil SLMC være representert på Tekstallianse 2011, både på stand og live. I den anledning har vi to nye utgivelser klare, Lars Lerviks EP og Tore Stavlund Gitararbeider, mars 2011. Les mer her: Tekstallianse

Jeg skal ha to innslag, hhv. kl. 12.30 eller deromkring under åpningen på Kunsthallen, hvor jeg vil gjøre et trekk med tittel "Eurydikes sang" og kl. 16.30 på galleri 0047, hvor jeg gjør først et solo sett med gitarkollasjer og stemme samt et trekk sammen med Anthony Barrat på perkusjon og elektronikk.
