Radio 9 release their first full-length album "Endless Streams of Light" on February 12th, 2011 at Café Mir!

Radio 9 (Enraptured, ResonanceFM records) celebrate the release of their debut album, "Endless Streams of Light" on Oblong•••. Expect a transcendental rush of optimistic krautpop, motorik filthtronica and tunes to tap your feet to. The (UK / Norge) band have worked with Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, Florence and The Machine) a...nd Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Nick Cave). The band will play the album in its entirety - accompanied by stunning projected visuals by Mats Sivertsen - and as usual, will improvise live around sequenced ideas.

The hauntological guitar works of Tore Stavlund (LAND / IDIOM) is based on improvised and prepared textures, diverse recordings and the odd slide melody. The music is said to be reminissent of the work of Edward Artemyev (Solaris) and Keith Rowe.
